Meanwhile, the pain of the father of an Israeli soldier has come to light. The father alleges that a Hamas fighter had cut off his son’s head and auctioned it. This person named David Tahar has revealed in an interview to Channel 14 about the death of his son CPL Adir Tahar.
David told that on October 7, Adir was deployed at an Israeli military post near the Gaza border. Hamas fighters attacked the post and killed Adir. After this, Hamas fighters cut off Adir’s head and announced to auction it for 10 thousand dollars.
‘The torso had to be buried without the head’
David told that he found Adir’s body in Israel’s national cemetery. He said, “My son’s body was mutilated. His condition was so bad that it was difficult to recognize him.” The body was identified through DNA test. David told that he kept searching from door to door for Adir’s head for two months, but he was not able to get any information, but in December he came to know that the Israeli intelligence department had found the head of his son which was taken by the terrorists. It was kept in a freezer.
David says, “As soon as I found my son’s head, I felt relieved that even though a lot had gone wrong with Adir, I could finally bury him completely.”
